Electrical Instrument/Testing Mechanic Foreman
Under general supervision, has charge of skilled work in the repair and maintenance of plant process control equipment, power distribution systems, and voice and data communication networks, including telemetry.
Graduation from a standard senior high school or the equivalent and six years of experience in the repair and calibration of electronic process instrumentation. Substitution: Additional experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Each completed course, or recognized formal training program, in process instrumentation may be substituted for four months of the required experience. Completion of two years of college level course work in process instrumentation at a recognized college, junior college or technical vocational school may be substituted for two years of experience.
One year of service with the District as Electrical Instrument and Testing Mechanic Leadman or two years of service as an Electrical Instrument and Testing Mechanic. Civil service status in one of the foregoing classes.
