Project Management Office Manager
Under the general direction of the Director of Information Technology, plans, initiates, and manages information technology projects related to major business systems and functions. Manages and guides the work of technical staff. Serves as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Plans project stages and assesses business implications for each stage. Monitors progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.
Graduation from a four-year accredited college or university majoring in information technology, business or public administration or closely related fields and seven years of professional level experience in information technology project management, two years of which must have been in a supervisory or other management capacity. Substitution: Graduate study in the designated fields may be substituted for the non-specialized experience on a year-for-year basis to a maximum of two years.
One year of service with the District as a Senior Business Analyst. Civil service status as a Senior Business Analyst.
