Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) Administrator
Assigns, supervises and reviews work of Engineering Draftsmen. Administers computer aided drafting and design (CADD) systems, operates their control programs, manages related digital information, and provides for systematic archiving of all CADD work products. Reviews CADD system performance to maximize its operational availability and to improve its operating efficiency. Develops, updates, and enforces CADD standards.
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university majoring in engineering, computer science, or a closely-related field. Three years of CADD experience in support of professional architects or engineers and one year of experience in the administration of computer aided drafting and design (CADD) systems.

Promotional Requirements: Two years of experience with the District as an Engineering Draftsman III, and a baccalaureate degree in an appropriate academic specialty. Civil service status as an Engineering Draftsman III.
