Administrative Specialist
Under supervision, performs clerical and administrative work such as composing and/or typing various correspondence, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, tracking completion of assignments, performing basic bookkeeping activities, distributing mail and answering phones.
Graduation from a standard senior high school or the equivalent and three years of experience performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks involving the use of computers. Substitution: Full-time post-secondary training in office technology or computer applications may be substituted for the required experience, to a maximum of two years.
One year of service with the District as an Administrative Clerk. Civil service status as an Administrative Clerk.
