Supervising Aquatic Biologist
Under general direction, supervises biological, chemical, and physical water quality monitoring studies, and is responsible for reviewing and analyzing proposed water quality regulations impacting District operations.
Graduation with a master’s degree or doctor of philosophy degree from an accredited four year college or university majoring in biology or one of the biological sciences, and five years of experience as an aquatic biologist or ecologist. Substitution: Graduate study beyond a master’s degree in biological sciences may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis to a maximum of four years.
One year of service with the District as a Senior Aquatic Biologist. Civil service status as a Senior Aquatic Biologist.
