Stores and Inventory Manager
Under general direction, performs responsible administrative work in managing the stores and inventory functions for the Department of Procurement and Materials Management.
Graduation from an accredited four year college or university majoring in business or public administration and eight years of experience in stores and inventory control or purchasing administration with emphasis on industrial-type commodities and equipment. Four years of this experience must have been at a supervisory level. Substitution: Additional supervisory experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Graduate study in business and public administration may be substituted for the required non-supervisory experience on a year-for-year basis, to a maximum of two years.
One year of service as a Head Buyer, Stores Administrator or Materials Planning Administrator and civil service status in one of the foregoing classes.
