Senior Diversity Officer
Assists in the implementation of the District's Affirmative Action policies to ensure compliance with Federal, State and District Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity laws, regulations and requirements and supervises professional staff.
Absolute Requirement: Possession of a valid driver’s license. Minimum Requirements: Graduation from a four-year accredited college or university majoring in business or public administration, construction management or a related field and four years of full-time experience involving monitoring and reviewing affirmative action programs for compliance with state and federal regulations concerned with increased opportunities for the participation of minority, women's and small business enterprises in government contracts. Substitution: Additional experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
Absolute Requirement: Possession of a valid driver's license. Promotional Requirements: Two years of service with the District as a Compliance Officer or Diversity Officer. Civil service status in one of the foregoing classes.
